Workforce International Group
Workforce International Group is a privately owned Australian industrial services business delivering workforce solutions, traffic management and line marking services across the country.

While today we operate at national scale through multiple brands, offices and depots, the business was built from very practical beginnings in a backyard shed in Rosebery, New South Wales. That origin matters because it continues to shape how Workforce operates.
From a small Terrace House to a National Group
Workforce’s growth has been shaped by practical beginnings and a deliberate approach to scale.
How Workforce Began
Workforce was founded in 1991 as a hands-on operation focused on people, reliability and getting the work done properly. In its earliest days, administration, planning and coordination were run from a shed in a backyard.
Calls were answered directly, problems were solved quickly, and trust was built one job at a time.
Built on Practical Fundamentals
There were no layers or complex structures, just a commitment to showing up, delivering safely, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and workers. These early fundamentals established a practical, accountable way of operating that remains relevant today.
Growth Without Losing Perspective
More than three decades later, Workforce’s head office in Rosebery now overlooks that same location. The business has grown significantly, but that physical connection to its beginnings remains a reminder of the principles that built it: accountability, practicality and respect for the people doing the work.
Growth was never pursued for its own sake. Workforce expanded carefully, ensuring capability, systems and governance matured alongside scale.

Built for Operational Reality
Our operating model has always been shaped by live environments and real-world delivery requirements.
Shaped by Live Environments
From the outset, Workforce was shaped by real operational demands rather than theory. That mindset continues to define the group today.
We support essential industries where reliability is critical and conditions are often live, complex and unforgiving.
Services Designed to Work on the Ground
Our services span recruitment and labour hire, traffic management and line marking, delivered through specialist entities that understand their operating environments.
Rather than forcing a single delivery model across all services, Workforce has grown through clearly defined brands, each with specific capability, leadership and accountability.
Focused on Outcomes
This structure allows us to maintain group-wide standards while still responding to local conditions, risks and client requirements. Our focus is not simply on supplying people or services, but on supporting outcomes through consistent delivery, safe execution and clear communication on site.
Structured Growth and Strong Governance
As the business scaled, systems and governance were developed to support long-term performance.

Building the Right Foundations
As Workforce expanded, structure and governance became essential to sustaining performance. Growth was supported by deliberate investment in systems, controls and leadership capability.
Practical Management Systems
Today, Workforce operates under structured management systems designed to support quality, safety and environmental performance across all entities. These systems are practical and operationally focused, supporting frontline delivery while providing transparency and assurance at a group level.
Embedded Compliance and Oversight
Compliance is embedded into how work is planned, mobilised, delivered and reviewed. Responsibilities are clearly defined, reporting is consistent, and performance is monitored across regions and service lines.
This approach has allowed Workforce to scale responsibly while supporting larger clients and multi-state operations without losing control or visibility.
National Capability, Local Accountability
Our structure balances scale with on-the-ground decision-making.

A Network Built for Coverage
Workforce operates across multiple states and territories through a network of offices and depots servicing metropolitan, regional and remote locations. This footprint allows us to mobilise quickly and consistently while maintaining strong local knowledge.
Consistency Without Centralisation
Clients engage with Workforce knowing that expectations, standards and systems remain consistent regardless of geography. At the same time, delivery remains local and is supported by teams who understand their regions, regulatory requirements and operational challenges. This balance enables Workforce to support complex programs of work while remaining responsive on the ground.
Our Workforce at the Centre
Despite its scale, Workforce remains a people-based business at its core. Our workforce includes thousands of people operating daily across a wide range of environments. Many have built long careers with the group, contributing deep operational knowledge and continuity for clients.
Supporting Performance and Retention
We understand that our reputation is shaped by how our people perform on site, how they communicate, how they manage risk, and how they represent the business. As a result, we place strong emphasis on onboarding, training, supervision and ongoing support. Looking after people properly is not a marketing statement for Workforce. It is a fundamental requirement for consistent delivery and long-term success.
A People-Based Business
Our people remain central to how Workforce delivers and maintains its reputation.

What Has Not Changed
The principles that shaped Workforce continue to guide the business today.
Principles That Still Apply
While Workforce has evolved significantly since its early days, the fundamentals remain unchanged. We remain grounded in practical delivery. We remain accountable for the outcomes we support. We remain focused on building a business that values people, safety and consistency.
Responsibility Grows With Scale
Standing in our Rosebery head office today and overlooking where the business began is a reminder that scale does not replace responsibility. It increases it. From a small terrace house to a national group, Workforce International Group continues to be guided by the same principles that built it: doing the work properly, supporting the people who deliver it, and building systems that enable safe, reliable outcomes across Australia.
